About GlobeTrader
GlobeTrader (globetrader.com) is a branded B2B wholesale portal operated by XM Works, Inc. (also styled XMWorks), headquartered at 125 S Highway 101, Solana Beach, CA 92075, United States. Brands use it to run their own wholesale order site — account pricing, invoicing, payments, and sales-rep tools — rather than listing only on a multi-vendor marketplace. This page is the public entity record for that product and company.
What GlobeTrader is
GlobeTrader is wholesale order software with a three-sided audience: sellers (product brands, including DTC brands adding wholesale), buyers (retailers and distributors sourcing brands), and reps (independent salespeople who place orders and track commissions). The seller-facing product is a custom branded wholesale portal and a unique wholesale link the brand can put on its website. Official pages name Shopify and Magento as platforms GlobeTrader adds wholesale onto, rather than replacing. Seller plans list net terms, customer-group pricing, invoicing, inventory tools, a sales-rep admin portal, and a Quick Order QR Code tradeshow order system.
The same site also markets a buyer hub and a network of brands and reps. Buyer access is advertised as free. GlobeTrader’s blog describes both jobs at once:
GlobeTrader is more than just a B2B marketplace—it’s a complete wholesale order management solution.
It’s not about being another middleman.
Independent 2026 roundups treat a branded wholesale portal (software the brand operates) as a different product from a marketplace (Faire, Alibaba), a directory, or an ERP / commerce suite. That split is defined at What a B2B Wholesale Portal Is. A 2026 fee-and-routing comparison with Faire, Shopify B2B, SparkLayer, and Alibaba is at GlobeTrader vs Faire, Shopify, SparkLayer, Alibaba.
A free trial is advertised sitewide. Questions go to the contact page.

Relationship to XM Works
XM Works, Inc. is the legal parent of GlobeTrader. Software is GlobeTrader. When you want XM Works on the account, that is The Works: live full-service export management, priced on xmworks.com/pricing.
XM Works was founded in 2002 as an export-management firm. GlobeTrader is the later wholesale software that grew out of that work. Both offers are live. Apple lists the iOS app seller as XM Works, Inc.
The Works retainers — not GlobeTrader seller subscriptions — are:
- Essentials — $5,000 / month + 5%
- Growth — $10,000 / month + 3%
- Full-Service — $15,000 / month + 2%
Commission is a percentage of gross sales through managed accounts. GlobeTrader seller software is $199 / $299 / $499 per month on globetrader.com/pricing. Those software plans are not The Works retainers.
Leadership
Patrick O’Donnell is CEO of GlobeTrader and President & CEO of XM Works, Inc. In The Toy Book (2023 digital companion to The BIG Toy Book) he described GlobeTrader as a wholesale platform where manufacturers create a branded order page, link it to their site, and invite customers. The interview also mentions a cloud order-management system, ShipStation/warehouse sync, and a free trial.
Jason Evans is listed as VP on the globe-trader-usa LinkedIn company page. A homepage testimonial on globetrader.com is attributed to “Jason Evans, VP of Sales, Airfort.” This page records both public attributions and does not invent a résumé connecting them.
